Where do the majority of your players come from?
Team Captains
Ben Vasko, ASU transfer (All American LSM 2011), 2012 UMLC 2nd team All Conference. Most athletic and lax IQ close defenseman I have coachedPeter Carbonneau, 2012 3rd team All American, 2012 UMLC 1st team Attack, 2011 2nd team 2nd team attackDavid Chlipala, 2011 2nd team All ConferenceBen Lucious, Blue Collar midfielder that creates in transition and wins the groundball war. Team first player. Ben tore is ACL in Greeneville last year v. NDSU. He still attends all team activities to support the team.
Can you tell us a little about your team’s goals for the upcoming season?
– Win a fourth National Championship
– Win the UMLC Conference
– Win in the classroom
– Win in the community
What’s one thing you’re most excited about?
I am most excited about our offense this year. We have one of the deepest midfield lines in all of the MCLA. We have a great mix of young and veteran players that like to play team ball.
Who will be the toughest teams to play in your conference this year? Why?
St. Johns is always our toughest opponent. This is the longest standing athletic rivalry in MN and the UST/SJU game always is exciting.
Are there any other MCLA programs that you would compare yours to?
What’s your prediction for the 2013 MCLA Final Four?
