On the backs of a 15-0 regular season and a fourth straight Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference title, the Colorado State Rams will enter the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association’s national tournament as the #1 seed. The Rams, who won the title in 2012, have been perched atop the MCLA polls all year and come into the tourney as the top seed for the first time since the 2006 season.

Quick Sticks: Colorado State Battles for Tough Win Over Georgia

After one quarter of play against the visiting #21 Georgia Bulldogs on Friday night, the top ranked Colorado State Rams found themselves in the unfamiliar position of trailing 4-1. But the Rams stormed back, scoring nine of the game’s next ten goals over the next 35 minutes of game time to finally put away a pesky and athletic Bulldog team 12-7 on a chilly night on campus in Fort Collins, CO.
