Following consecutive wins over current No. 23 Virginia Tech (11-9), Illinois (7-2) and now No. 13 Michigan State (10-9), Simon Fraser had their three-game win streak snapped 10-8 by Davenport on Sunday, March 31, concluding a three-game swing through Illinois and Michigan that moved the Clan to 7-5 on the season.

MCLA D1 newbies Grand Canyon and Davenport met up this past Saturday for a shootout down in Arizona. Down 13-6 going into the fourth quarter, Grand Canyon mounted a huge comeback, outscoring Davenport 8-1 in the fourth quarter to push the game into overtime.

Michigan State Men’s Lacrosse has named Brandon Schwind Head Coach. Schwind comes to Michigan State after coaching at Division III school, Fontbonne University in St. Louis, MO from 2007 to 2010, and the past two seasons at Haslett High School in Michigan.

Pitt wins CCLA East and Announces All Conference awards

Pitt beat Ohio 18 - 13 to win the CCLA East and earn another shot at toppling MSU in the CCLA final today. The Panthers attack were on fire, led by Junior Captain Tyler Novotny with 6 goals and 1 assist, Conor "Spike" Nugent with 3 Goals and 3 assits and Joe Grmusa at 4 goals and 1 assist.

Pitt opens the season strong with wins over Grove City and conference foes Central Michigan. Highlighted by great performances from D1 transfer Novotny, Grmusa, and Powell the Panthers improved to 3-0 on the season. Look for the Panthers to be ranked shortly.
