Hey LaxAllStars Family,

I’m back to finish up our trip to Arizona and our first game back at home.

Arizona State (ASU 18 SFU 5)

This game was an eye opener for our team. We came into the game feeling good about ourselves, and left with a completely different outlook on the rest of the season.

ASU came out and played like the number 1 team in the league and we didn’t play to our full potential. They’re a good team and know what it takes to win.

We’ve since learned from this game and it is now helping us prepare for the rest of our season.

University of Illinois (SFU 11 UI 4)

This was our third game in four days. You tell our legs were a little burnt out. We played our game though and worked within our systems to get the win.

It was hard to know what to expect from Illinois because they had only played two games before us so we didn’t get to see any film on them. This game was a team win and nice to get the bad taste out of our mouths from the day before.

Washington State (SFU 30 WSU 2)

It was nice to have a home game for the first time in two weeks. Everything on and off the field got back into its normal routine. We were able to have our first full week of practice, film, and lifting. It was also senior day and everyone wanted to make sure we sent our seniors out with a bang.

We controlled this game from start to finish. Offense and defense were clicking as well as the transition game. Senior Day couldn’t have gotten much better.

Looking Ahead

With classes wrapping up here at SFU and finals just around the corner, the next post will most likely not be for a couple weeks.

Go Clan!
