Lacrosse the Border: Playoff Push

Hey LaxAllStars Family, We just finished up two home game stands, and then we went on the road to Oregon to play University of Texas. Due to my lack of free time (preparing for the PNCLL tournament and wrapping up the school year), I didn’t have a whole lot of time to write, so I made sure the video was full of awesome highlights from our trips to Oregon and Montana!

Hey LaxAllStars Family,

We just finished up two home game stands, and then we went on the road to Oregon to play University of Texas.

Due to my lack of free time (preparing for the PNCLL tournament and wrapping up the school year), I didn’t have a whole lot of time to write, so I made sure the video was full of awesome highlights from our trips to Oregon and Montana!

Go Clan!

UT-11 SFU- 4

Things looked good early in this game, we were controlling the pace and getting a lot of good looks but we couldn’t bury.

They got a couple goals for themselves too and we went into half up 3-2. We felt good about the game coming out of half but as the 3rd quarter went on, things began to fall apart.

Guys were getting frustrated, we were making little mistakes, and Texas capitalized on all of them. We couldn’t catch a break or turn things around for the rest of the game.

SFU-16 UM-7

Finals just finished the day before this game and had 10 days off.

Everyone was excited to be done with school and ready to play our next opponent.

We were able to watch them play University of Washington the day before, so going in to the game we felt confident and that we were going to win this game.

We struggled a little bit in the first half getting back into the swing of things. Coming out of the second half we were able to turn it around, go on a couple runs, and get the win.

Playoff Time

With the regular season over, I have to say its been quite a good ride so far for me at SFU and I’m hoping it ends on a high point.

With conference playoffs just around the corner and school done things are beginning to become more intense at practice. Everyone on the team is focusing on all the small things to make sure we come into playoffs clicking.

We take on Montana in the first round of the playoffs on May 3rd. The winner of our game will then play the winner of Oregon and Oregon State for the final on May 4th. We just played Montana last week and Oregon and Oregon State played as well.

We can’t go get through this weekend and on to the National Championships down in California!
