If you’re an MCLA Fan, you already know that Davenport University beat St. Thomas 14-9 for the 2011 MCLA Division 2 National Championship. If you’re not an MCLA Fan yet, you will be one step closer to becoming one after you feast your eyes on the bling below. It’s the #LittleThings, afterall.

For more on the Davenport Panthers, check out their team website, which may actually be one of the best looking team websites in the league. Yes, again with a hashtag… #SchoolSupport

  1. It’s easy to get nice rings and have a nice website when you’re a 100% school funded program (playing in a club league)

      1. Though I don’t know the support of each team – I scanned the NAIA website and listed the schools I recognized that have MCLA teams.
        – Aquinas – MI
        – Biola – CA
        – Concordia U – CA
        – Davenport – MI – fully supported
        – Dordt – IA
        – Indiana Tech – IA
        – Judson – IL – fully supported as far as I understand
        – University of Michigan – Deaborn – MI
        – Missouri Baptist – Fully Supported
        – SCAD – GA
        – Taylor University – IN
        – Tennessee Wesleyan – TN

I would imagine those are the only teams that could potentially be fully supported by their school.

        1. I’m fairly sure Indiana Tech received the funding that was going to go towards forming a football program, so that’s a fairly large amount. Sienna Heights, MI is also a fully funded squad. Players receive money for food on road trips even.
