2010 MCLA Tournament Fields Announced

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (May 2, 2010) – The Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) announced the Division I and Division II teams that will compete for national titles at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo. May 11-15. The University of Michigan, last year’s DI champion, and St. Thomas, the returning DII champions, are the top seeds in Division I and Division II, respectively.

Michigan enters the tournament with only one loss on the season and back to back championships in 2008 and 2009.

Division II features the return of the St Thomas Tommies, who have won 22 games in a row including last year’s National Championship.

The first round and quarterfinal games of the MCLA National Championships will be played on the external fields at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on May 11 and 12. The tournament then moves inside the stadium for the semifinals and finals on May 14 and 15.
