I graduated from college almost a decade ago, and yet I still find myself pondering what it would have been like to be an MCLA lacrosse player. The quality of play on the field is obviously very high, but the entire atmosphere surrounding most of the teams seems to differ so greatly from NCAA lacrosse at a small New England college.
Yeah, we wore slip on sneakers and calf-high socks, and plenty of our players rode bikes around all the time but there is just something different about how the MCLA guys handle the game. And I like it.

Check. UCSB is poised to make a real run in the playoffs this year. On May 4th (Friday) they play Arizona State and it’s a big game for 12-2 Gauchos. UCSB lost to Chapman 9-4, and then beat UNLV 11-8. Do they have what it takes to take down ASU? Let’s hear some predictions for Friday’s big SLC game!
