Dear MCLA Fans, Players, Coaches & Alumni,

Today we’re excited to announce the official launch of MCLAFan.com, the online social hub for fans, players, coaches & alumni of the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association. MCLA Fan provides access to unique commentary, aggregated news, and multimedia revolving around the MCLA. The goal is to enable fans, players, coaches, and alumni to connect and help support the growth of college lacrosse.

This site is not officially affiliated with the league. However, our founders are MCLA alumni who, for the past several years, saw the need for increasing the national exposure and interactivity of the teams and their respective fanbases. We built this site because we want to help increase the visibility of the MCLA and support the expansion of this great sport at the collegiate level.

Over the past few years there’s no doubt that the MCLA has become a focal point of the sport – it has fueled the growth of lacrosse in local communities across the country, attracted top high school recruits, caught the attention of university athletic departments and most importantly introduced collegiate lacrosse to hundreds of campuses nationwide. This positive growth and momentum fueled the need for an online community specifically for MCLA enthusiasts, and we hope MCLAFan.com plays a key role in helping the MCLA sustain its strong momentum.

So, it’s here and we hope you like it. We built it for you: the MCLA fan, player, coach and/or alumni. What you see now is the foundation – a perfect platform to continue to develop new ways to help passionate lacrosse fans stay connected to the game. We hope it becomes a valuable resource which draws both new and established fans. With your input and support it’s sure to help the MCLA community grow.
