Washington-St. Louis Lacrosse

St. Louis, MO – Coming off their second GRLC Title and MCLA National Championship appearance; the Washington University Bears look forward to an exciting 2013 season with another tough slate ahead of them.  The schedule features two teams that finished the 2012 season in the Top 25 as the Bears take on #6 St. John’s and #16 Indiana Tech.  Out of Conference foes Grove City College, John Carroll, and Northern Colorado, as well as GRLC stalwarts Missouri Baptist, Missouri State, and Lindenwood-Belleville, will provide a tough challenge to the Bears chances of returning to the MCLA National Championships.

The Bears will also take on fellow UAA Conference member, Emory, in the first Harlem Lacrosse and Leadership Cup.  The HLL helps youth build leadership skills and social responsibility through the sport of lacrosse.  Wash U Lacrosse Alumnus, Jake Klein is the Program Director of the HLL and helped put together this event.  For more on the HLL, HarlemLacrosse.org.
