It’s Rivalry Week here at LaxAllStars, with big NCAA Division I rivalry games between teams such as Maryland and Johns Hopkins as well as Michigan and Ohio State. Connor gave us the rundown on some of the NCAA’s biggest college lacrosse rivalries, and most MCLA rivalry games are still a week or two away, but let’s take a look at some of the MCLA’s best rivalries.

Amidst snowstorms and inclement weather, the No. 2 Colorado men’s lacrosse team fell to the top-ranked Arizona State Sun Devils 8-6 Saturday, March 14. After attaining the top rank in the NCAA club lacrosse polls two weeks ago, this is the second loss the Buffs have suffered after losing to the Michigan State Spartans 11-10 on March 8.

The #3 Colorado State Rams backed up their double overtime victory over #9 Colorado two weeks ago with a solid 8-5 effort in the semifinals of the RMLC tournament on Friday night. Colorado State jumped out to a 4-1 lead at the half and withstood a third quarter rally by the Buffaloes to reach the RMLC title game for the third consecutive year.
