Stonehill Suits Up for the Playoffs

Stonehill College (PCLL D2) is prepping for another run at the PCLL Championship this weekend. Stonehill hasn’t won the PCLL since 2009 and will be looking to upset the #6 U.S. Coast Guard Academy this weekend as they square off in a rematch of their April 18th decision that went in favor of the Bears.

To help stir up some excitement at Stonehill, the team got new playoff helmet kits that were literally just released and will be unveiled in their semifinal playoff game against the #6 Coast Guard this Saturday at 12 PM at Brown University.

The helmets feature the Hill Lacrosse logo on one side, and the player’s number on the other side.

The rear features the Stonehill crest with the “Lux et Spes” (Light and Hope) motto. Beneath the crest is the player’s last name as well as a “Boston Strong” stripe to show the team’s support for the victims and heroes of Marathon Monday’s senseless tragedy. Stonehill College is located in Easton, MA, just 30 minutes south of Boston.

Good luck this weekend gentlemen!
