Can you tell us a little about your team’s goals for the upcoming season?
Establish our system, both on and off the field. With three coaches, two from the Syracuse area (Roanoke ’97, Cortland ’07) and one from Philadelphia (Drexel ’10) we are working at developing the talent we have and are actively recruiting the classes of 2013 and 2014. We expect to compete right away and having the full support (no player dues) from the athletic department and school we expect to see our program grow rapidly.
What’s one thing you’re most excited about?
Everyday we get better.
Who will be the toughest teams to play in your conference this year? Why?
Are there any other MCLA programs that you would compare yours to?
What’s your prediction for the 2013 MCLA Final Four?
As a new school we are in the GRLC and will compete in 2013 without appearing in our conference tournament, therefore our only focus right now is developing our current crop of players and to eagerly recruit young men of great character and athleticism to our school. We’ll be sure to check out the MCLA tournament come May though!
