MCLA Fan is excited to begin our new series of posts for the upcoming season. While we will still have our great MCLA stories, we wanted to offer up a new format for many of our other posts. Titled “Quick Sticks”, they’ll be direct and to the point so you can get the info you need and be on your way!

News out of the Land of Lincoln, the Fighting Illini have found themselves a new coach for the 2013 season. Ben Coughlin, a former midfielder for Kansas State will take the reigns.

Illinois will look to improve off their 13-4 season last year that ended with a GRLC Title and an early exit from the National Tournament. With a strong returning class, there should be no question where the Illini have set their sights for 2013. Good luck gentlemen!
