PNCLL Champs Oregon State Season Recap

Oregon State 2013 PNCLL Championship

The Oregon State Beavers were the PNCLL champions in 2013 stopping the potential 3-peat of the in-state rivals, Oregon Ducks. The Beavers started the season dropping their first two games to Stanford and Simon Fraser. Quickly turning things around the Beavs then won their next 11 games before losing to the Ducks in their season Finale.

Oregon State went into the PNCLL playoffs having already lost in the regular season to the two teams they would play in the playoffs, Simon Fraser, and Oregon. But as we all know, the playoffs are basically a brand new season.

You could tell the Beavers had one thing on their mind after their resounding win against the Simon Fraser Clansmen 11-4, a PNCLL championship and a trip to the national tournament in South Carolina.

The Championship game was a civil war between the Oregon State Beavers and university of Oregon Ducks. It was a back and forth battle the whole game, both teams wanted to beat the other so badly. But in the end the Beavers prevailed victorious in a nail-biter of a championship game 10-9.

Take a look back on their incredible season with this video sent in to me by their All-American Goal Keeper, Nick Widmer.
