Oregon – Simon Fraser SHOOTOUT Video Highlights

Written by Connor Wilson

BHSVideoDad is back with another awesome highlight video featuring the Oregon Ducks and Simon Fraser Lacrosse. This was a total barnburner where offense (offence) was King. Great lacrosse in the Pacific Northwest!

A couple of weeks ago, Oregon Lacrosse took on Simon Fraser in Eugene, OR, and an absolute shootout was the result.  SO MANY GOALS!

The Ducks have mostly played a controlled settled offense this year, but in this game it was a track meet as they scored frequently off of unsettled plays.  The influence of box lacrosse is very evident in SFU’s game and their new star attacker, Calvin Craig, had 6 goals.  BHSVideoDad said it was an absolutely fascinating game, but hard to fit into the Youtube format because of how many goals were scored!

A rematch is expected in the PNCLL championship game Sunday May 7 in Wilsonville, Oregon.

Oregon vs Simon Fraser Lacrosse – April 8, 2011 in Eugene: Arch rivals, Oregon and Simon Fraser square off in Eugene for PNCLL bragging rights.  It’s a offensive avalanche featuring the Canadian inside attack against the midfield generated offense of the Ducks.  SFU leads by two at halftime, but Oregon out scores them 7 to 3 in the third and cruises to a 22-14 win.
