Oregon scores first, but Cal Poly pulls it out.

BHSVideoDad sets the scene with some text, and then provides the video highlights like only he knows how!

The Oregon Ducks take on the Cal Poly Mustangs in Novato California in an important early season match up in the MCLA.  The Ducks took down Cal Poly twice last season and Cal Poly is looking for revenge.  Cal Poly’s high powered attackmen Schmieid, Herberer and Graupman dominate Poly’s offense.  Oregon leads early and the game is tied several times in the second half before Cal Poly pulls out a victory.

This was an exciting game with Oregon showing a lot of new faces.  Freshman Hoch, Dill and Proceviat all had goals in the game.  The Ducks lead 6-4 at halftime and after being outscored 6-2 in the third came back to time the game at 11 all with 7 minutes remaining.  Cal Poly the scored a couple and ran out the game.  The following day, the Ducks took down Sonoma State 9 to 3.
